Christian Heritage Center loaning DVD course on inerrancy to churches and individuals
A major tenet of Christianity—the inerrancy of the Bible—is under attack. The inspired words are being tossed aside by many Christians as not true.
An August 2005 survey by Newsweek/
Beliefnet documents some serious problems. First, the following question was asked:
Can a good person who isn't of your religious faith go to heaven or attain salvation, or not?
Sixty-eight percent of self-proclaimed “evangelical protestants” said yes! For mainline protestants the number was 83 percent, and for Catholics it was 91 percent!
Despite the clear teachings of the Bible that salvation is only through Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.), more than two-thirds of evangelical protestants believe there are other ways to heaven. This is extremely dangerous and needs to be addressed.
The Christian Heritage Center is very concerned about this lack of adherence to biblical teachings and is making available to our local* churches and individuals copies of the DVD “How Do we Know the Bible is the Word of God? (Can We Trust The Bible?).” In six 20-minute sessions you can watch Dr. Norman Geisler lay out the convincing evidence for the Bible in 6 parts. The Bible: Who wrote it?; Any errors in it?; Was it Copied accurately?; Is anything missing?; Which translation?; How to interpret it?
As Christians, we must “be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you…” Paul wrote that we should “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”
For that reason, we are providing this information on the inerrancy of Scripture so that each and every one of us will be able to explain why we believe the Bible to be God’s Word.

|In theology today, much is known about Calvinism but what little in-depth information on Arminianism is often skewed. So, to give our visitors a chance to "hear the other side," we will be posting portions of Jacob Arminius's work (as well as other Arminian works) here on a regular basis. This is not to say that one side is right and the other wrong... it is to provide a bit of balance so you can make an educated decision.|

The Faith of our Fathers was and is still correct!|
The Nicene Creed
"We believe in one God the Father Almighty... one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God... who... for our salvation, came down from heaven... was crucified also for us... was buried, and the third day he rose again... and ascended into heaven... we believe in the Holy Spirit..."
If you believe something else, don't plan on being in heaven.
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
